We walked into an empty restaurant at 6 and ordered right away. When our food had still not arrived by 7, and no one came to refresh our drinks, we asked what was going on. They claimed to be overwhelmed with take out orders. 15 minutes later, still no food and we asked to see the manager. Who didnt come to the table. So 10 minutes later I went into the kitchen demanding to speak with him. Rather than being apologetic, he was rude and defensive amd it still took 10 more,minutes for our food. He did comp the bill but other tables were getting angry too. If they didnt have the kitchen capacity to serve us, we should,have been told that instead of ignored until we chased down staff to,help.

We had 7 people and went here for the first time in Memorial Day Saturday because Open Table had a good time available, it was BYOB, and the menu sounded good. The place was empty 7:30 Saturday night, so the fact that it took 30 minutes to only get half of our order of wings was odd. We placed 2 orders for our table, but waitress told us the buffalo wings would take much longer. We ordered a couple of pies and a large cheese steak. Pie crust was delicious, wood fired. However, the prosciutto on the pie was not very good. But the biggest problem was the cheese steak didn't come until the rest of us were done. Ruined dinner for them. There was only one other table so they did not have any reason for the lack of service. We will not be returning, nor would we recommend it to anyone.

Food was great, waitress was lovely, appetizers took an hour to come out, another half hour for dinner. Rez was for 630, didn’t get out of there until 9. Restaurant was empty. Clearly a big problem in The kitchen. Waitress was beside herself by the time we left.

Excellent food and service, far more expanded menu than your average Pizza joint we had apps, pizza and entrees, all were timed perfectly and delishous

I dine at Doughboys often. Holly was my server and she is excellent. The Woodfired Pizza is delicious. Sandwiches are filling and the dinners are superb! Don't leave Belmar without visiting Doughboys!
