We are an award winning craft distillery and bbq smokehouse located in the heart of San Clemente.
All of our spirits are handcrafted here in San Clemente with grain from our parents' farm in Kansas, making us a true grain to bottle distillery. We are also proud to serve KC style inspired bbq with a SoCal twist.

                            We’ll go again, though they’re new and still need to work out a few things on the menu. We’d prefer more entree options (even a simple ‘pick two smoked items’ option) plus include a small salad as one of the sides. Cocktail pricing and draft beer pricing is good…though two taps were out. (One for a brewery that is in San Clemente). And for a CA based restaurant, why charge $18 for a glass of Falcone Syrah when the bottle is $32 retail? All in all…this expansion of Drift to a restaurant location is a winner!

                            Service was absolutely excellent ambience was fabulous wasn’t too noisy. Food was good would like to have a few more healthy choices other than barbecue beef and chicken options.

                            First time visit and it was really great place food is different and delicious. They’re a little skimpy on the drinks. One of those restaurants that use a small water glasses so you order more cocktails that are also watery.

                            It was our second time in. Greeting was so friendly wait staff was attentive and eager to serve. We were a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our dinner very much. Do try the Twinkies. Yummy!!! Love the atmosphere but just a little bright. Maybe dim the lights a smidge. Overall very pleased and welcome to downtown San Clemente.

                            The food was excellent and served promptly. But it seemed like that there was only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. Because of this (and perhaps a lack of bartenders, I don’t know) drink service was ridiculously slow. I hope this was a one time thing, or perhaps it is just part of getting the restaurant up to speed.

                            Beautiful space, want and inviting. Brussel sprouts were excellent, fries that came with sandwiches had a unique and delicious flavor no condiments needed! Staff was friendly and attentive - would love to bring friends back here soon! Hope they have a happy hour offering soon as well.

                            Great experience, cocktails were great, food was tasty, ambience was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and try more food and drinks. Great addition to downtown.
