Welcome to Dylans - The Kings Arms

We are a relaxed vibrant modern British Pub Serving Food in both our bar and our restaurant.

Our A la Carte "Bill of Fayre" operates in our restaurant whilst our Snacking Menu operates in our Bar Area. We are fundamentally a pub and you are welcome to join us in our bar without booking a table although we would recommend arriving early during busy times.

Please note that we will be able to seat you within 30 minutes of your booking at busy periods so please do not arrive earlier than you booking time unless you wish to use the bar. Please note that the bar is extremely busy between 7:30PM and 9:30PM

We are on a street which offers very limited parking however, there are a number of car parks in town. Please check council websites before travelling and ensure that you know what time the car park closes as some car parks close around 23:00. The St Albans Boys School has some parking after 19:00.

Amazing food and service. The set menu had so many delicious options, it was very difficult to choose and the wine list was excellent too. Top restaurant.

Had a great Sunday lunch, I'd highly recommend. Reasonably priced for the food too.

Expecting the set menu, on arrival discovered a different Sunday menu which is not at all advertised on the website, and more expensive. Food mixed, roasts good and huge, pork cheek main very small, only 1 vegetarian choice of maybe 7/8 mains (not really acceptable anymore). On asking if the waitress if they could offer anything else veggie se suggested hake... which was served with mussels and bacon! It was a birthday meal, it really didnt live up to that at all

Table ready when we arrived for our booking and service was all excellent . Starter was tasty but not well presented. Main course was really lovely.

Great food and service. Had seen previous reviews complaining about portion size but there is no issue - plenty of food, imaginatively prepared and delicious
