   This was a special occasion for my wife and myself, our 52nd wedding anniversary. The atmosphere, our server, the meals and everything was perfect. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the sun setting in the west over the Mississippi River. Every once in a while we would observe a train going either North or South in the horizon by the river too far to hear but so peaceful to observe. This is truly our favorite restaurant in the Galena, IL Area.

   The food was amazing. The staff so friendly. Views were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend and next time we come to Galena we’re going to stay at the Inn.

   This restaurant was very intimate, romantic and the food was remarkable! I had their signature dish steak, my husband selected venison. He said it was fantastic. It was an all around special night.

   We had an outstanding meal at Goldmoor Inn. Nothing could have been better. The setting was beautiful, and the staff, including the owners, were unbelievable. We will definitely be going back.

   Everything was excellent! The presentation of the food was visually stunning, and the combination of flavors just divine. The Goldmoor’s restaurant has quickly become my favorite dining destination in Galena. Highly recommend!

   This was an amazing experience - delicious food, wonderful service (not too "in your face" but kind and available), great atmosphere and a price you would expect for this type of meal.

    This dining experience was nothing short of magical! We were initially entranced by the marvelous castle like architecture and beautiful grounds of the property. Each employee positively contributed to the overall atmosphere and experience. The food was just as special and unique. We loved it and can't wait to return! Thanks!
