unfortunately although we booked through open table Edwards bar was closed when we got there.So very disappointed

We arrived and no one greeted or seated us. We went in to dining area and it was freezing so decided to sit in the bar as it was warmer but we had our toddler and there was live music and people playing pool so it wasn’t ideal. My main (fish & chips) looked lovely and fresh but had a big black hair in it which put me off. My partner had the steak pie (again this looked lovely) but the gravy was very salty, too salty.

Had small wait for our food after ordering, but worth the wait!!! All was delicious and freshly prepared! Good value for money and will def be back.

Customer service non existent. Waited far too long for food . We ordered caesar salad and it was a handful of iceberg lettuce leaves and a few bits of chicken. We had to ask for dressing. No apologies. We will never go back and having read previous reviews now, I can't imagine that they will ever have repeat custom. Very poor is rating them too highly.

The food was really nice I had chilli with potato wedges my friend had chilli with rice and we both enjoyed it. I had the apple pie which was outstanding my friend had ice cream. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for coffee as service was a little slow and we had a taxi booked to collect us. To be fair there was only one member of staff serving and there were several tables occupied.

Wheelchair user. Front door closed, enter through garden. Garden has steps into the bar area, so the front door had to be eventually opened. Ordered starters the prawns and garlic mushrooms had to be returned as they where still frozen and not cooked?. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins and condiments. Will not be returning.

I booked a table for 7.30, after being shown to table with z menu, member of the bar staff said the kitchen was closed, when i said i had atable booked he spoke with another member of staff who said we could order food Presntation of the food was poor starters and main course The food was overcooked and did not look very good considering the build up to the resturant regarding where the chefs had worked previously. Will not be back

This is worst eating place in SQ .manager (jack) was so up himself with no customer service he thought no one would take heed to feedback Food was awful ,most things not available on menu ,chicken fajitas had no chicken)0(jack took the order).medium steak well done .well done sreak no mushrooms and no steak knives so couldn’t cut it and was told we can cut it up in kitchen ( seriously! Because I am over 60 do I need my food cut up !!! Asked for a salad as I didn’t want chips and I got a bowl of limp lettuce nothing else Avoid this place at all cost unless you want to throw money away .brewes fayre is better Arrogant management they think they can serve inferior food because they have your money .Any where in south Queensferry is better than this olace
