We enjoyed our dinner. The octopus and tuna were delicious. Unfortunately the paella was not great. No charred rice on bottom and was overcooked and the aroma was off. The oil used was not right. The desserts were very good. Will be back to try other items on menu. Cozy new jewel in PChester.

Restaurant Week lunch 2024. This is a still unknown gem of a place. We had a delightful lunch with only one other set of diners. The food is true to its Columbian roots from the owner of Appetite Bistro.

I love this restaurant. The owner/chef is an excellent chef with great pedigree. The food is typically Colombian but cooked with subtlety and fresh ingredients. The ambiance is casual and very comfortable. Service comes with a smile and all at a good value.

We had a wonderful dinner at El Callejon before a show at the Capital in Port Chester. If you’re looking for great Latin fusion food without pretense, this neighborhood restaurant is a find. I had the arroz con mariscos which was outstanding with a generous portion of large shrimp, clams and mussels as well as saffron rice prepared the way it should be, not too dry and not too moist. Leave room for the outstanding banana beignet dessert served with vanilla ice cream.

This was our first time at this restaurant since it became a Latin restaurant. We thought the food was amazing. The owner was so welcoming and told the staff not to charge us for our appetizer. We thought that was such a nice gesture. We will definitely be returning soon.

My daughter and I were in town for a concert, and we had dinner beforehand. My only criticism was that the outside signage was missing, so we didn't know the address was correct until we called to confirm our GPS was working! Overall, it was a really good meal. We shared the mussels appetizer which was incredible, huge mussels in a delicious broth. We also shared the Caesar salad and red snapper main course, both had large portions and were absolutely delicious. If we come to the area again, we will definitely return!

Due to some paperwork deadlines, we had to keep our previous restaurant name "Appetit Bistro" on the outside. Until everything clears we should have our new name "El Callejon" on the outside sign soon. Sorry for the confusion

The whole fried red snapper is perfection and presented beautifully. The empanadas are the best I have ever eaten. There is convenient parking.

We had a lovely dinner. It was unexpectedly very good. We had the empanadas and the Colombian national dish. Everything was very tasty - especially the steak and sweet plantains.
