Good atmosphere, great food - taste is really there and good size portions for tapas. Service was prompt but slowed down as restaurant became crowded. Great value!

El Pirata is excellent. The tapas was delicious, especially the gambas a pil pil and the chicken. It was served very quickly and the staff were friendly and efficient. It was a really fun couple of hours. The oloroso sherry is excellent. Top notch.

Lovely tapas bar tucked away down a side street away from the hustle and bustle of London. We went here for my wife’s birthday for a pre theatre dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was all freshly prepared, authentic and delicious. We will definitely return.

We travelled today from the Midlands for an overnight stay at a local hotel for my wife's birthday. We have a dinner reservation for tonight but wanted a light lunch and found this gem of a tapas restaurant. We had the express lunch and couldn't believe the value for £16.50 each. The food was fantastic and service was brilliant. We've already decided to return whenever we're in London as it really is the best tapas we've had outside of Spain.
