Food was good, however portions overall small for the price. Also we ended up at a high table even though we had booked for low seating. The ambience was a bit lacking. A good venue for a group but not very cosy or romantic for just two people. And all those dead anthlers / bones strewn around the place was unappetising. Service was pleasant warm and polite.

The food was amazing!! Cannot fault it, had the scotch fillet medium rare and it was exactly how I ordered it. The only thing bringing the score down was that we booked online to say it was our anniversary, when we arrived it wasn’t very busy but still took a few minutes for someone to seat us, they didn’t acknowledge our anniversary and the server asked us if we would like still or sparkling water, we asked for still but it didn’t come until we asked for it. Later found out our server was the owner…..,other than that, so so good!

Outstanding. I opted for the beef tart and the Small starter risotto and both were perfect with two different Malbec’s that were great value.

This was our second visit to Elliotts, but first for our Perth friends. Unfortunately our table which we had booked for 6.30pm wasn't ready as they were greatly understaffed in the front of house. Our food was good, although as a steakhouse you can't run out of steak and the particular cut that my wife wanted had. The steaks were cooked beautifully, but you may not need to order the recommended sides , as the portions are generous. Service was good, although they were under the pump and couldn't accommodate the amount of people coming into the restaurant and run the tables. There were uncleared tables throughout the restaurant, which was disappointing. Saying all of this and leaving a substantial tip because I'm a chef and understand the pressure of the silly season, I would recommend Elliotts when in Margaret River.

Excellent steak, fresh oysters, unfortunately the fish sauce was too salty for our taste which dropped one star. We came here for a birthday celebration, would be nice if the restaurant can offer a candle or some little gesture. Overall a great choice and lived up to the awards and review.
