Located in a storied rum runner tunnel under Maria & Enzo's restaurant, Enzo's Hideaway is a speakeasy that pours Prohibition-era cocktails and serves hearty Roman-style dishes. The entrees include handmade pasta, fresh fish, chicken and steaks. The signature Salumi e Formaggi platter is made to order and features a selection of imported cured meats and aged cheeses. The Tunnel Bar is known for its hospitable bartenders, swinging music and humorous graffiti.
Inspired by Florida’s true history of rum running, Enzo’s Hideaway brings to life the tale of restaurateurs Enzo and Maria who discovered a hidden cavern used by bootleggers during prohibition as a place to store their haul. Enzo restored the space into his personal speakeasy where he would entertain friends and family.. Today, the aperitivo-style lounge focuses on keeping Enzo’s original concept at heart by serving great cocktails and Roman inspired cuisine, with service reminiscent of being at an Italian dinner.

                                            The Pasta Del Nonna had hand made Fusilli and the sauce, meatball and sausage were all very good. One of the better Disney meals I’ve had.

                                            Enzo’s is a gem. The food and the service were very good but what makes the meal is the ambiance. It’s a quiet restaurant and that is hard to find these days. Enzo’s has a mellow vibe versus the loud “Instagram” vibe where people are too busy on their phones and want to avoid conversation. Go to Enzo’s if you have family or friends you would like to talk with over a good meal.

                                            For an appetizer we had the Focaccia Della Casa. I was hoping for a pop of flavor but it wasn’t there. That’s okay the bread was still delicious with olive oil. The main course for me was the Paccheri Al Ragu’ Di Cavolfiore and it was phenomenal. My drink was the Enzo’s Fedora and it was delicious. However, do not leave without having a Give ‘Em’ The Slip. OMG. Soooo good.

                                            I would highly recommend Enzo’s! We make our own pasta sauce with homegrown tomatoes, so we are extremely picky when it comes to dining at Italian restaurants, Enzo’s surpassed our very high standards. Everything was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed red sangria, meatball appetizers, ravioli, spaghetti, pasta with short rib ragu, bolognese and salmon. I suggest leaving room for dessert- we had chocolate gelato, tiramisu and berry crostata - all heavenly! Service was also excellent: I brought a party of 9 with ages ranging from 4 to 75, our server was attentive and personable. The speakeasy atmosphere was very charming. Wonderful dining experience!
