I had an absolutely miserable experience at this restaurant, and I’m appalled by the behavior of their staff. While the service throughout the meal was already subpar—our waiter was curt and botched some orders—the true low point came at the very end of our dining experience. As we were leaving, the hostess, who was dressed inappropriately for a professional setting, became hostile and aggressive toward my father, my brother-in-law, and me. Her confrontational demeanor made us extremely uncomfortable, and her rude comments were completely unprovoked. To make matters even worse, I later discovered she had falsely marked me as a no-show on OpenTable, tarnishing my account despite the fact that we dined there. The experience felt unwelcoming and disorganized, and the lack of professionalism among the staff is deeply concerning. This isn’t just bad service—it’s outright mistreatment. I warn others to steer clear if they value their time, money, and dignity.

One member of our party of four ordered the 8oz. Filet, medium rare, which came out charred on the outside. They offered to do it again, but butterfly cut so as to deliver it faster to our table. The second filet was just as charred as the first. They did offer to remove the filet from our bill, which they did, but overall we were unimpressed by this restaurant. The portion sizes were paltry for the prices and they gave us 2 separate menus which they said had the “new” market prices, which we understood to be gouging during peak ski season. Very upset at this experience.

One of the best dinners we have had in Vail! Service and food was fantastic. The restaurant itself is quaint and decorated with the coolest art. If you like family style or large dishes for sharing, this is your spot.

First time at Fall Line and it was EXCELLENT! A perfect dinner to wrap up a great day on the mountain. Gera was our server…awesome guy with great recommendations and made our dinner experience perfect. We arrived with a serious appetite and ended up splitting the Elk (full rack). The presentation of this shared dish is incredible…and the taste was OUTSTANDING! Note, 24oz of elk is a lot of meat… you could easily share this “family style” entree with 3, maybe 4 adults. Book a table at Fall Line and request Gera as your server. You won’t regret it.

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience at Fall Line! Kostiantyn was very attentive and made our evening great. And topping it off, the Elk chop was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
