We have been to Italy and studied it's masters. We have tasted (a lot) of wine. We have searched for the best ingredients, and learned and perfected the best recipes. Why wouldn't we be the best Italian experience in the Vail Valley!
The idea of growing fresh fruits and vegetables in the Rocky Mountains might seem crazy to some, but for us it is just another step in perfecting our craft. Our Chefs and Gardeners labor tirelessly to bring you the best produce and ingredients available seasonally
We try each day to live and work with a purpose. Each step of your evening has been pondered. We try hard to bring you the food you crave and anticipate your every need while you are dining with us. From the stuzzichino when you step in our door to the parting sips of limoncello.

                                                                      We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Fattoria! The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch, as always. We enjoyed the Rigatoni, Bolognese, and Risotto Mare, each dish with flavor and cooked to perfection. Steve, the owner, was as friendly and welcoming as always, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and wonderful hospitality!

                                                                      It wouldn't be fair to fault the chef at this restaurant as the food is very good. However, management's policies are another issue. I like to know what I am paying for food and drink. We asked kitchen to split two entrees (NOT one) as we wanted to share each others. We were charged somewhere around 10 bucks extra for each "split." I understand the policy if two people share ONE entree as they are taking up space. But, this felt like a rip off., especially considering we ordered a bottle of wine and starter. And, then, there was the kitchen charge of over $7 and request for tip. Restaurants better serve the customers to be upfront about cost of a dish, rather than sneaking in additional fees. I won't be in a hurry to return,.

                                                                      The staff was exceptionally nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Our Caesar salad was slightly wilted and a hodge podge of chopped kalamata olives, a dry crostini, and a cracker (as described to be fair), with unremarkable dressing. The mussels had an overabundance of sausage, small mussels, and way too hot from the kitchen. The Brandini dish was fabulous and the tiramasu was excellent. Our neighboring table had a fabulous filet and Saltimbocca and looked amazing. We'd love to come back, but would skip the mussels and Caesar. Definitely worth giving them another shot.

                                                                      Great experience at Fattoria in Avon…they have an excellent wine list, and Josh helped us make a selection to pair with dinner. We both enjoyed our pasta dinners. Josh’s attention to detail during our meal was superb.
