2022 James Beard Award Winner for Best Chef Northwest & Pacific.

Rooted in the local farm-to-table movement — a place where seasonality and culinary tradition are celebrated in tandem. One part Hawaii and one part Brooklyn. The atmosphere shares a brasserie feel with a laid-back island sensibility—a celebration and homage to all of our favorite things we enjoy eating and drinking.

Crafted with brick & reclaimed wood, our urban Hawaiian farmhouse features an open kitchen, lush plant wall, brick walls, and lots of natural light in a historic Chinatown building. The bar mixes classic and modern cocktails with artisanal flare with a well-curated wine list.

Van de OpenTable-redactie: Chef-kok Robynne Maii van het nationaal geroemde Fête, was de eerste Hawaïaanse vrouw die een James Beard Award won. Ze voegt eilandelementen toe aan brasseriegerechten. Although we sat outside sidewalk which was expectedly noisy with buses on route, the food and drinks are beyond ordinary and truly delicious. Server was friendly and informed if specials. Make reservations for inside to fully enjoy. We were glad to get a seat last minute. The place is very popular and packed!

Started outside but moved inside because the sidewalk and regular Friday hustle and bustle was taking away from the experience. Thankfully they moved us inside without incident. I ordered the Basil Ceasar to start and it did not disappoint. Great flavors and a well balanced salad. Moved onto the Fete Spread, great bread and delicious dips that despite looking small portioned, lasted through 2 orders of bread and then some! Entrees we got the Korean fried chicken sandwich which absolutely did not disappoint. Fantastic bold flavors and a perfectly cooked chicken. I would have liked a little more slaw but it was perfectly balanced. I also ordered the pork ragú and it was so good! The pork was perfectly cooked and the sauce was spicy but nothing overwhelming at all, especially for those not into spice. For dessert we wanted to try the rocky road ice cream, it was ok, good but nothing that I’d order again. The olive oil cake was also good but again, nothing that I’d order again. The cake was a little burned and even tasted it a bit on the edges. Good but nothing great. I was underwhelmed by dessert, but very much looking forward to returning to keep trying more of the food and perhaps find the best dessert. I was looking forward to the donuts that had been mentioned on many reviews but they were not offered. It quickly got busy for a Friday lunch. Overall, I’d go back again and look forward to the next time!

Our hostess and server were both friendly and attentive. The ambiance was casual with a touch of industrial, common Chinatown style. The music was 80s-90s alternative rock. We had the Quinoa cakes to start with were very good. Crispy on the outside with avocado topping and a spicy guajillo sauce. My main was the Bonnne mi sandwich. It was basically roast beef grilled cheese on brioche bread. I was expecting more bahn mi vibes which weren’t there. My wife had the spaghetti carbonara which was a bit too salty. The house made hibiscus soda was delicious. The ice cream and sorbet desserts were good but not great.

A friendly, enjoyable place. Menu has so many options it’s hard to choose. Service was lovely. Food was very good, inventive and tasty.

Totally fantastic food and drinks. Imitated but not equaled. The service was unbelievable. Recommendations were spot on. Warmth was touching. Felt like you were coming home.

This is hands-down the best food we ate while in Oahu, every dish to the cocktails were unreal! Our server brought so much magic to the meal the the history and story chef had for each dish. I ate the lasagna, and my boyfriend had the pork chop, we started with the beat salad and both finished with desert. The rocky road was perfection along with our entire experience!
