Our recent visit to Chophouse was an absolute delight! From the moment we were seated, the experience was top-notch. Gina, our server, was truly outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. She made sure we had everything we needed and offered great recommendations. The food? Simply amazing. Food is ok. They were out of an item, but overall not bad.was it worth the price? No it wasn’t. I still believe Fahrenheit 132 is better when it comes to steak. The ambience of the hotel is amazing. Would I return? Probably not anytime soon.

Five Chophouse & Bar operates like they have been in existence for many years when they have actually only been opened for less that a year. Extremely professional and well trained staff. Great atmosphere with most people (guests) dressed approprietly for a high class restaurant. Our waitress was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. We will most definitely be back. The bar has been set very high for other restaurants in the city of Fredericksburg.

The restaurant feel and look was beautiful. We tried it and was hoping past reviews were wrong but unfortunately they seem to be exactly correct. The waitress was very nice and offered suggestions; however, never offered us bread which we saw all of the other tables receive, which didn’t make sense as we told the waitress from the very beginning that we were extremely hungry. The entrees seemed to take forever to come out and when they did arrive they were lukewarm. We told the waitress and all she did was apologize and not offer to have the food reheated. The potatoes we both received were not fully cooked. The ends of my potato were cooked but the middle was not even cooked. We told the waitress about all of this and nothing was offered. Unfortunately the food does not match the prices on the menu. We were hoping this would be a place we would enjoy as it was our anniversary but sadly disappointed and will not be trying again.

Amazing food and service. We both got the Bistro Fillet and it was cooked perfectly to what we ordered. I got mine with the chimichurri rub and it was spectacular.
