Churrasco has three centuries of tradition in the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil. Gauchos would prepare a feast for their family and friends by slow roasting various cuts of meat from each of their herd over an open flame pit. They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. Established in Roseville in 2014, we are proud to share with you the culture of great food and warm hospitality.

                    Dinner was fine. The food comes out in waves. Sometimes we had no problems getting food. Other times we waited for a while. That’s to be expected. We were celebrating a birthday. So too were many other tables. The waiter would bring an ice cream, light a candle, and sing. At our table? The waiter slid the ice cream over and walked away. It was really disappointing, especially when right after the table next to us had the waiters sing. Also, be aware that tip recommendations on the receipt were post-tax.

                    This places sucks! The steak is really salty, they take forever to come to your table, and they pick and choose where to go serve you. We were waiting for steak every 10 minutes. Hire more staff or have them trained to keep busy. The waiter was rude. I live in Vegas and have this and it’s amazing but Bakersfield sucks. Guys please stop with the salt to much on the steak and start getting better by passing the steak around this place is garbage not worth the money never again

                    We went for Thanksgiving. It was my first time. They tried to offer the traditional dishes. Honestly; I felt like I was in a cafeteria. Sorry. Not high end. If you like your meat… sure. This place is for you. Otherwise, don’t bother. Don’t know if I’ll go back.

                    31st anniversary dinner and as always it was the perfect place. Our table had rose pedals and a card on it, my wife was given a rose when we arrived and of course the food was excellent and I ate too much. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a great meal
