We went to the Giuseppe pop up here last night. It was mehhh. The red sauce was good. Nothing else was anything to rave about and very basic/boring. Didn’t like the rigatoni at all. Pricing was way too high on most items for the portion size and quality. We wouldn’t recommend or do this again. Skipped dessert because at that point we had been disappointed enough.

Dined at the Giuseppe’s pop up - it was absolutely delicious! We loved the veal and branzino. Wish it were around for longer!

The outdoor heating wasn’t working, for an outdoor reservation (which we weren’t notified about). They were out of 50 percent of their oyster selection at 12:30pm … which is just very very doubtful it was because they “sold out”. The service was disappointing, and it’s kind of been a theme lately with this restaurant group. I was a fervent supporter of them but they have consistently dropped the ball as of late the few times I’ve frequented their establishments and it’s mostly service related issues. I was told it’s a health issue to have my dog on my lap while sitting but then another couple sitting behind us was allowed to have their dog on their lap? I’m not sure if it was discriminatory ? Neither was a service dog, so I’m left to wonder why the rules applied to me weren’t for everyone else as well. The food was passable, under seasoned and just an overall underwhelming experience.

Unfortunately this visit to Flex Mussels was very disappointing. All the staff is very friendly and the service is very professional. The special mussels for $40 were very bland and there was not much flavor in there except salt. Also, the mussels were very small and chewy. In our last visit in May 2024, the mussels were the best we ever had. You can find mussels in many restaurant menus and they are not expensive at all. We go to Flex to get really good mussels prepared in a tasty broth. Unfortunately, if we can't be sure about the quality, why would we go back.

I went to the pop-up restaurant Giuseppe’s. The service was attentive, and the food was amazing. I had the burrata, which was perfectly pared with sundried tomatoes. The Branzino was one of the best I've had. I love that Flex Mussels continues to bring us such innovative options.

We attended the Giuseppe pop up and it was incredible! From the service (Taylor was awesome!) to the menu options and the ability to add a meatball to any dish - um yes please! Everything was just perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. Will definitely be back, not only for this pop up but for any Flex has in the future!
