Food & drinks were delicious! Very creative touch to the menu. Def recommend the salmon croissant Benedict & the Shakshuka eggs along with the matcha espresso and the cantaloupe & olive oil martini. 100/10! 😍

30 min wait with a reservation was unacceptable. The place has poor acoustics and just too loud to have an enjoyable meal.

Checked out Flora for brunch with friends - it was a holiday weekend so they were packed, but experienced some slow service to start (it improved as the meal went along). The inside decor is unique for the small space. We were seated in the very back corner next to a storage room, but appreciated being away from the cold. It took a long time to get water service and then even longer for our lattes and coffee to be delivered (again, it was packed, so not a huge deal). We ordered the Salmon Benedict, Avocado Toast, and Zucchini Frittata - all the food tasted fresh with good flavors and decent portions (not too big or too small). We were checked on multiple times to make sure the food was ok, and were brought requested condiments, etc. Overall, we thought it was good but not amazing, with an average value for the price paid.

Nino and Ocean have made a beautiful space, once again. All the staff were attentive and kind. Overall, a great evening. I understand they pull out all the stops for brunch, so we’ll definitely check it out again.

Apparently a popular brunch place, but I wouldn't return for dinner. I think the selfie-types get caught up with the Instagram-able interior, which is beautiful and the cool vibe. Ordered several dishes most of which were just okay and generally under seasoned. Not a great sign when the best thing was the Cucumber Salad and Prawns starter. We also had lamp chops, pork belly (skip this), meatballs (oddly conceived w bland tempura mushrooms and a fondue that had a pasty consistency), and chicken entree.

We were happy that the location is near the public parking structure as North Park area has limited street parking. However, even though we were on time for our reservation, it took an additional 15 minutes to seat us and another 10 minutes to take our orders. Then I asked the server which she would recommend in the Salty savory menu, I love Carbonara, so she said she would highly recommend that, and so I went with her recommendation. Now I don't mind waiting for the table but that was the worst carbonara I've ever had! I've made carbonara, I've ordered carbonara from other restaurants, I know what it supposed to taste like but this one is swimming on some bechamel cheese sauce that has an awful taste, and although I'm not a great fan of al- dente pasta, this was not anywhere near al-dente, it was hard and needed another 2-3 minutes before it's ready, so I had them take it back and get me just a standard American Breakfast with sausage, but I got bacon instead. I was told that they just opened according to the manager about 3 weeks ago, and they are still adjusting their menus, which was underwhelming. Having said that, I plan to give them a second chance. Maybe today was just an off-day. Everyone needs a second chance, after all..
