Today, my family of 12 celebrated Christmas dinner a day late at Fogo de Chão, and I felt compelled to share our wonderful experience. While several staff members assisted us throughout the evening, one exceptional individual truly stood out: Monica. Monica was more than just a waitress—she was an absolute gem. Her kindness and patience made us feel like we were guests in her own home. She interacted with us in such a genuine and thoughtful way, going above and beyond to ensure our evening was memorable. At one point, we asked if she could take a group photo for us. Not only did she gladly agree, but she first took the initiative to clear our plates, ensuring everything looked perfect. She then patiently took photos of us in multiple spots around the restaurant, making sure we had options to choose from. As a business owner myself, I can confidently say Monica exemplifies the ideal employee—someone who goes the extra mile with a smile and treats every guest with care and respect. Her dedication and warmth deserve recognition, and I sincerely hope her efforts don’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Monica, for making our family gathering even more special. You’re a beautiful soul, and a true credit to Fogo de Chão!

The service was amazing. The servers were so kind and welcoming and quick; even on such a busy day. The food and drinks were lacking but ok. Best was the picanha medium rare. Loved the fried yucca and the pao de quiejo (cheesy rolls). Usually love fried plantain but the oil wasn’t hot enough so they were oily and soggy. The bacon wrapped filet, bacon not cooked long enough so just soggy and meat not seasoned enough. Sausage was great. Last complaint were the drinks.. I got 2 types of caipirinhas, neither had any sweetness at all. Got the plain and mango habanero. I don’t like a super sweet drink but no sweetness? It was just sour and flavorless. My dessert however was divine, Crème Brulee Cheesecake. I’m not a person who usually criticizes but I spent a good amount to have Christmas dinner. the people and service brought the review from a 3 to a 4. Perhaps it was just a busy day for the kitchen staff which is understandable.

We were in one of the small rooms which was both good and bad. TheGood was that the sound level was low. The bad is that service was a lot slower than in the main rooms. The waiter was great. The meat servers were slow to visit.

I should have learned my lesson from the first experience a year earlier. But my son likes this place so I took him there again when I visited. However, I will NEVER go back. We were seated on time at our reservation. And again we were stuck in the corner of the restaurant. Our server took our drink order, and that was the last time that we saw him over the next 1:20. The runners would serve the table sitting next to us and then leave without serving us. We sat for 15 minutes with no food on our plates while the table next to us was being served repeatedly. I went to the front and spoke with a female manager, and she directed two servers to stop by our table and then it resumed as normal with servers serving the table next to us and not serving our table. After an hour and fully disgusted at the experience, I tried to flag someone down to get our check. We sat in the corner for 20 minutes before we finally went back to the front of the restaurant to close out our bill. We were then charged full price as though nothing derogatory had gone on. After I told them I was not paying full price they comped one of the meals which I appreciate, however it does not mitigate the fact that I went there to have a pleasant meal that was completely ruined by a horrible lack of service and management. There is no way that I would recommend this restaurant nor will I ever be returning. Not that that’s gonna mean much to this management. If you choose to go to this restaurant, don’t sit anywhere in the corner of the restaurant.

For a first time experience we had an amazing time the servic was awesome and the food was amazing we were literally in food heaven the only downside I was not offered a Receipt my bill was 146.75 and I left a proper tip paid in cash so I have no proof but I did take plenty of photos 😀 😉
