The place is disgustingly dirty and the service was horrible. I even had to tell one of the guys bringing the meat around not to hold his knife point down directly over my 3yo son.

Overall, it was good, and our servers were fine. What threw me off was when we arrived, there was only a one other large group-probably 12-14 people seated in this huge restaurant, and yet, they had our table set up backing up to that one. I had asked for a bright area (meaning by the windows) and a round table (which they don't have, but somehow I remembered them having one last year when we went with our group). I don't think they bothered to read our Open Table reservation request until we actually got there. In anycase, they were really reluctant to move us. The guy that was wandering around-didn't seem to be a server/waiter was consulted by the greeter. He was useless. Seeing that I was annoyed by the fact that they had us back to back with this other group in an otherwise empty restaurant, the greeter finally said to the "useless one", that we could take tables a bit down from where we were initially set up. I was thankful for that. My suggestion would be to dispense with the useless people, in hopes of keeping you lunch prices down...

Had made a reservation for Sunday to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the stewardess tried to sit us in a corner, at a small table right next to another table with no room and on the other side, was a waiters station. There appeared to be plenty of walk in traffic that appeared to get better seats, so it seems that making an effort to be prepared and make reservations here is worthless. I refused the table and opted for a better table and to wait for one. The stewardess seemed bothered and surprised that we didn’t want to be sat at such a crappy table and offered to seat us there with hopes of being moved and I said no. Magically, she found a “better” one immediately. This table, although it had been better-located, was in the center of traffic and had several people, waiters and patrons bump into me and my wife while we tried to enjoy ourselves. It’s apparent that they overbooked/oversat people as there were so many packed into this room like sardines. Took forever to get our sides and forever to get attention of the gauchos. The gauchos were gachos. 25 minutes we waited for them to drop by with meats. We seemed to have the left overs from their rounds. I have been to this fogo de chao for years and never had this level of abysmal service, planning by the wait-staff and I am not so sure we will be returning. Our waiter, did his best to be accommodating and was nice, but I saw he was over-encumbered, over-worked and lacked logistics from competent leadership. I’d ask for a drink or item and then minutes later, a different waiter would approach me and my wife asking if we wanted drinks. It was very stuffed, very loud, very cramped. This level of over-booking and over-seating seems greedy to me, but I am not an expert at logistics. They’ve just never been this terrible before.
