Excellent stuff, very welcoming and professional. Fast service and efficient. Exquisite food, with only fresh ingredients that makes you want to try the whole menu. Highly recommended.!!!

The room is very elegant and pleasant. The food was great - scallops almost perfect, amazing duck (referred to as rabbit by the waiter but that did not affect its taste). Baked figs disappointed compared to the rest of the dishes. The real disappointment is the wine list - most positions not available and no choice whatsoever under £100 per bottle. The wines on offer are mostly in the £200-700 range. This felt very weird but maybe that was the way Mr Francatelli saw high dining in mid-19th century.

We had a gorgeous meal, the service was impeccable and the attention to detail was great. Unfortunately there was an infestation of fruit flies and this did impact the overall ambience of the experience.

It is a most pleasant dining space separated into almost separate room areas with acceptable distance between tables. Lovely decoration and artwork gives a warm ambience. Piped music is not too loud and intrusive as it is many restaurants. The dishes we chose were inventive and beautifully presented but most of all, tasted delicious. Impeccable service, attentive, courteous and never obsequious. Good sommelier advice on our choice of wines to match both our chosen dishes and style preferences. In summary, a delightful evening all round.

I hate giving negative reviews but this was wholly uninspiring and outdated. Please don’t waste your money on the tasting menu. The staff weren’t able to tell us anything about the food or wine pairings. “This is your first wine” was about as informative as it got.

A great experience, lovely food. One big issue, several flies circling food for all 3 courses. Rather off putting!

Went for Saturday lunch. Food was excellent. We chose between lunch menu and Al La carte I had the lunch menu with a haddock soup to start followed by mussels and cod. Both were excellent. Others tried the Ham which was superb and Portobello Mushrooms went down a treat as well. Service was top notch as you would expect and good value.
