A walk through the doors into the fabulous Frankie Bones Restaurant & Lounge takes you back to the carefree style of the early 1960s and t's restaurants in the big cities across America. Frankie Bones serves coveted American-Italian cuisine seven days a week and is located next to WiseGuys on Main Street on Hilton Head Island and off Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton. Lunch at Frankie Bones is about signature sandwiches, homemade soups, fresh seafood, crisp flatbreads, entrée salads, and premium pasta dishes. Always fresh and always fabulous! Served from 11 AM until 4 PM, Monday through Saturday, Frankie Bones is the perfect atmosphere for a business or family lunch.

We appreciate the easy booking online and the ability to accommodate a larger party. The food and service are always consistent. This time, the two steak dishes came out much later than the rest. We own a restaurant and understand timing is difficult.

Somehow does not have the vibe of the on island version. Lights are too bright, service not as good. Food was ok, but just thrown on the table in heavy cafeteria dishes.

Overall, this was a good experience. The food was mostly good but for one soup which was mediocre. The food temperature was not consistent as some came out piping hot and others were lukewarm. Also, the service was fine, but a bit slower and uneven. However, this was all during New Year’s Eve when they were quite busy., And seemed overwhelmed by the number of people in large parties. It looks like a place with some good promise, however so we will try it again at a regular time of the week and year.

I have dined at Frankie Bones for years and specifically on New Year's Eve. The experience in the past has always been fantastic. Tonight it was terrible. The service was terrible - I had to go back up to the main desk to complain before we even started having our meal. We sat for almost 30 minutes and had only been served water. When our meals came, they were served to the wrong people and other servers kept coming by the table with different items asking if we ordered it. I have never had an experience like this and was very disappointed!

I had the pot roast! The meat was fall-off-your-fork tender. The carrots were like candy. Strong recommend. We chose an early seating and got a quiet corner. Our server was a delight and wonderfully attentive. Thanks for a great dining experience!

We were seated at 5pm just on time for our reservation. Our waitress Holly was excellent and checked on us throughout the meal to see if things were "perfect." Our food came on time and I think the Fried Calamari was one of the best I ever had. All rings and no tentacles just the way I like it. Even the bread and butter was delicious. I enjoyed the broiled seafood trio with a house salad. My husband enjoyed his Cod dish that was covered with shrimp and crabmeat. Of course we had dessert, me a cannoli and he had the decadent chocolate cake with ice cream. Terrence the manager was ever present and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. Frankie Bones is always a hit with us.
