Frascati is a Mediterranean style bistro, located in one of San Francisco’s most desirable neighborhoods – Russian Hill. When a guest walks through the door of Frascati, he or she is initially treated to a friendly and comfortable dining room. Frascati encompasses a truly European aura, but is also a cozy, San Francisco neighborhood bistro. This tri-level restaurant features warm colors, high ceilings, antique light fixtures and street views of cable cars clanging up and down Hyde Street. The natural light and energetic atmosphere all convey a lively spirit.

Our cuisine is inspired from the Mediterranean coast and has strong Californian influences. The menu shifts frequently to utilize the best and freshest ingredients any season has to offer. Also, we pride ourselves on all of our house made desserts and ice creams.

Of equal importance, Frascati has become known for having an eclectic wine list which nicely complements the food.

Lovely meal. Service was a little rushed - took a wine glass and a plate before we’d finished. But food was delicious.

The hostess/owners made us feel very welcome. Good wine list, great food - best ever pork chops. Super-attentive waiter. The icing on the cake was a small scoop of homemade ice cream the hostess/co-owner(?) brought to my table to celebrate my birthday. Warm, neighborhood vibe.

Food was well prepared and flavorful. Portion sizes were satisfying. The wait staff and managers made me feel very welcomed and well looked after. The dining room is very cozy. Frascati has been added to my favorites.

It is not a real Italian restaurant; it is a fake, where they served poor quality food and the ambience is not nice at all and the kitchen smell is overwhelming

Dear Frascati team, We were greeted at the front door with open arms and warm smiles! Fabio and Vidal were absolutely wonderful, coming in to perform service at just the right times. The cheese plate, grilled bread salad, and three pastas were fantastic. My guests and I felt the overall experience was outstanding and we would all recommend this small family-owned business to everyone!

Fabulous experience! Attentive staff that welcomed and treated you like a friendly neighbor with excellent food. My pasta, octopus salad was outstanding. I’m still thinking of the perfectly executed panna cotta. Can’t wait to come back.
