We had a reservation on Christmas Day and the staff was already running. Were we seated quickly and everyone we interacted with was excellent. The drip coffee was mediocre as was the corned beef hash; it was somehow dry and fatty simultaneously. The bacon sandwich was excellent as were the chocolate chip pancakes. A good value overall but not great. If the staff had been average this would be three stars.

5 diners—Food varies in taste and quality. Cheeseburger, veggie sandwich and matza ball soup were very good. Tuna melt had way too much onions. The meat in the French dip was very fatty, very dry and very tasteless. A cup of soup instead of all those French fries and potato chips would be a nice addition to the sandwiches. Very nice waitress.

Food was average. I ordered the ribeye and it was grisly and touch. Disappointed that we weren’t told the Singing Servers were not performing. Server did great and loved the ambiance and prices.

Friedman’s always comes through for us!! We can count on them to deliver really good food at reasonable prices, and they have many gluten-free options which are perfect for our girls, who have celiac. Today, our girls had gluten free macaroni and cheese, they shared fish and chips, my wife enjoyed matzo ball soup, and I had the salad with salmon. All of it was very tasty and we appreciated the ambiance and friendly service, too. Highly recommended!!

Second time to NYC, second time to Friedmans for breakfast. Great food although I wish they served omelets. Everything we ordered was great. Great espresso drinks as well. Excellent service both times, this time it was 4 adults and 4 kiddos 9 and under. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.

While we love & appreciate that there are so many gluten free options, the noise level was so loud it was very difficult to tolerate for all five in our party of varying ages. Food was fine - tacos and mac and cheese were a bit too spicy for my daughter and my salad was overdressed, but had good flavor. I also didn’t love that they require that you turn the table in one hour. We have been at lunch time and had a much better experience and have also enjoyed their uws location.

Our reservations were for 1:30 and we got there at 12. They were able to seat us by 12:30. The atmosphere was so nice. The architecture of the ceiling and columns inside were so pretty. Our server was nice and efficient. The food was really good.

Great food, fast service! We had gluten free pancakes and avocado toast and both were delicious. My daughter has celiac disease and has no problems. Win win!
