Our waiter was attentive without being obtrusive. The wine and food was excellent and the prices reasonable. We were seated away from the bar area, so we were able to have a conversation with our friends. Closer to the bar tends to be a lot noisier.

We hadn’t been to From the Boot for awhile. Only there one other time for a group party. It was good then and is still a good place to eat. Service was really excellent. Our server was very attentive and they started with rolls and water right away. Service kept up through the meal. I had the Chicken Franchese and my husband had the scallop special with fusilli and spinach in a light white cream sauce. The meal would have been 5 star, but there was too much salt added to the vegetables. Also my broccoli rabe had a clump of butter in it with one bite.. Keep in mind if you order scallops, you will get 3. 4 would be a better portion. We would go back there again.

The ambience and decor was very pleasant and generally a great atmosphere. The food was very good although the recipes a bit unusual. I found it odd that there was no pasta in the Italian wedding soup and that the Bolognese sauce had cream. Otherwise everything was great.

From the Boot was the only restaurant open New Year's Day. Loved it. The waitress with blond hair was so very friendly. Great place for wonderful food and service!

Number one to note is the friendly and helpful waitstaff who also listen closely to their clients. The food was of excellent quality and was prepared superbly. Even management checked with us multiple times to ensure everything was to our liking. This restaurant is terrific!

Small portions, average to below average service and food quality and overpriced. If searching for a great Italian meal, you’d be best served looking elsewhere in the Ambler area.

Our server, Hannah was great and so friendly and efficient. Amazing how a great server/service can make a dinner. Haven’t been here in a while but they accommodated our extra two guests without question. We will be back soon!
