Great food, good service, friendly obliging staff. Lovely views from footpath & front dining room tables. How lucky are we to have such a great local venue!!!

We decided on share plates to extend our time frame and were not disappointed. Natural oysters, tomato, basil and mushroom aranchini , lamb ribs and wood baked Camembert made for a delicious slow meal

Chicken parmigiana terrible chicken dry out of a packet microwaved canned tomato paste out of a can cold. tomato sauce should be on fresh chicken then ham with cheese on top and grilled

Haven’t been for few years. New decor and management. Good, efficient staff. Meals of good quality for a busy kitchen and presentation was very good. Prices average. Noise levels inside high but it was Sunday lunch so busy. The one complaint concerning food is that this kitchen subscribes to the current idea that broccolini must be presented barely softer than al la natural. Why is it not allowed to be cooked past crisp he asks?

A week ago I had quite possibly the best crispy pork belly I’ve ever had. Tonight the polar opposite. Soggy fatty greasy pork. Kindly asked to return it to the kitchen and what returned wasn’t much better, whilst the pork was crispy the rice was clearly old and microwaved, salad was pretty miserable. Real shame as I’d raved to visiting family about our “local”. Bring back last weeks chef and give him a raise.
