   It was pretty rude that we had to wait over 45 minutes after having a reservation. Drinks were ok. Food was good. Service was amiable.

   My husbands food came out 8 minutes before mine. That should never happen. Waitress seemed annoyed too. BUT the food was delicious and the bar was great. We will still be back.

   My wife and I dined at Gabrielle Charleston in Hotel Bennett for a Valentine's Day weekend dinner (our first time at this restaurant). The food overall was very good as was the service. My wife's clams that came with her fish were slightly overcooked and she didn't eat them, but I liked 'em. My butternut squash soup was VERY small and it was an "interesting" twist. Normally, butternut squash soup comes very creamy, but this version seemed to be more along the lines of a vinaigrette. There was no cream in the soup. The flavor was good, but not what I was expecting and I wouldn't order it again. The noise from the adjacent bar was quite loud. It took me a half hour to find parking (I dropped my wife off at the door when we arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation time). I wish the person I'd spoken with a few days before to confirm the reservation had told me that they had valet parking. When I'd asked about parking, the person said that there were many parking garages around the hotel/restaurant. Unfortunately, they were all full the night of our dinner. After circling around in ever-expanding circles, I finally found one with parking spots available a half mile away.
