   This was our first time for my wife and I. First impression are lasting ones. We definitely will be back because of the exceptional service. Tristan our server was great and very attentive. We recommend the Curry Chicken dish.

   pretty good spot, but a good lunch spot not really a dinner spot, the more pub dishes are a lot better than the wannabe finer dining dishes, the braised short ribs where 38$ tender but the fried leek was too hard and threw it off and the carrots slightly overcooked, i’ve had great lunches with friends eating things like the chorizo penne, brown bag fish and chips and the pan fried haddock. Good lunch spot but mediocre date night spot, but being on opentable does give it a step up over places like cask and kettle, also the beer selection was disappointing. Solid spot, good atmosphere but nothing to really set it above the rest.

   Friendly and attentive staff with great seafood-based pub fare. This was an excellent setting for a Holiday meal with co-workers.

   We had family visiting from out of town who were eager to dine at a place with a historic ambiance and a diverse menu, including seafood. Since we also needed a family-friendly spot for our 15-month-old, we chose Gahan, a restaurant we’ve enjoyed in the past. This visit, however, marked our first time bringing our toddler along. We made a reservation online for six adults, noting our need for a high chair in the additional notes. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. Our table was ready, complete with a high chair, a coloring placemat, and crayons to keep our little one entertained. Our server was incredibly kind and promptly took our drink orders. We started with fishcakes for the whole table, which were a hit—our toddler loved them too! For our mains, we chose an array of dishes: Lobster Mac and Cheese, Seafood Chowder (which included muscles!), Coconut Chicken Curry, and Haddock Tacos, all of which were delicious. The portion sizes were wonderful and the cost affordable! To top it all off, our server was so efficient that we hardly noticed when our family covered the bill. Overall, our experience at Gahan was wonderful, and I highly recommend it for its cozy ambiance, exceptional service, and delicious food.

    Not what we expected—food was ok and a bit pricey. The fries and poutine were good—but our other dishes weren’t spectacular. We were hoping for a better experience on our 35th anniversary
