                                                                                                    Seafood pasta was overcooked and very much like a paste rather than pasta. Rice on Premium Shrimp was at least a day old. Tomatoes on Atlantic Salmon were not fresh. Rice was also days old.

Appetizers 1st class, crab avocado quality outstanding;ceviche great, generous serving. Salmon special order x 3 with rave reviews; stuffed shrimp special x2 also outstanding. Our favorite place to go when dining on island, not a chain restaurant and menu not full of fried foods.

                                                                                                    Absolutely fantastic experience all around, some of the freshest food I’ve had and service from Trey was outstanding, friendly, and full of great recommendations. The quality of seafood here the highest. From the oysters to the entrees, all of it tastes like it was just caught and brought to you. The ceaser salad is top notch and creamy and delicious. Red Snapper preparation was so tasty and perfectly cooked. This restaurant has been here since the early 1900s, and they make simple and no frills food with excellence and care. We will definitely be making this a frequent dinner spot moving forward!

                                                                                                    We have been coming to Gaido's for years. While the menu has changed over time, it's still one of our favorite restaurants to visit. Great food, great service, great ambiance, easily worth the drive down from Houston. 10/10, would highly recommend.

                                                                                                    Food was all good, albeit a little pricey but not out of the norm for Galveston. One complaint was that for the caliber of restaurant and the price point we should not have to ask for water refills, which we did. Our waiter was great but maybe stretched a little thin. Maybe more support staff to handle refills, etc. would be helpful.

                                                                                                    The food was cooked t perfection, as usual. Service was amazing, we always enjoy our dinner at Gaido’s. Pecan Crusted Snapper and Fried oyster’s were both wonderful. We will be back soon.
