   Calamari was the best part of the dinner. Arancini was a nice presentation. Yet cold. Two of the pizzas were done ok, third wasnt quite done. At 20+ for the calamari, I asked for extra sauce. The ramikin was another charge of 3.50. Seemed a bit excessive .

   Excellent Neapolitan Pizza and you'll be wowed by the personable service. The manager went out of his way to accommodate the seating we requested, and our server Angie (with real-deal roots in Naples) was an absolute delight. Cozy spot. Dim lighting. Great place to reconnect with a friend or friends, and probably a good date spot as well. Truly enjoyed the award-winning pizza. Also - authentic pizza sauce with No Onion or Garlic! Bravo!!!!! Only drawback - Sports on the TV above the bar detracted from the ambience. Too bright. There's enough good vibe here without it. Overall Highly Recommended!

   The food was beyond amazing, so I would go back for that, but the experience was severely diminished by the fact that we weren’t seated until 8:10 when our reservation was at 7:00. Clearly, they need to stop letting so many reservations be made because they don’t have enough seating.

   From the moment we walked in the door we felt appreciated, taken care of, and special. The wait staff always made sure we had fresh water at the table and our waitress take extra time to make our meal personal, get to know us and make great meal recommendations.

   Truly an absolutely amazing experience every single time. Not only is the service, friendly and approachable, my favorite pizza in Chicago is made here. The caccio de pepe pizza. Truthfully, it is beautiful. You need to try it to believe how good it is. I bring my friends here every single time that they are in town.

   Gallucci’s was very accommodating to our larger group! Our wine glasses were never empty and the food was great. The fried dough with tomato was delicious!

   When my party of two arrived for our 7 PM reservation, we were kept waiting for 15 minutes despite an available table for six that could have been adjusted to seat us. While the table was eventually rearranged, the delay made the reservation feel unnecessary and gave the impression we were not prioritized. What I found most upsetting was being approached and confronted at the restaurant by THE OWNER when I tried to express my concerns calmly. As a young woman, this was an intimidating and uncomfortable experience. Guests should feel safe providing feedback without fear of confrontation, especially when their concerns are valid. Additionally, being rushed through our meal and asked to vacate our table before finishing our drinks made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. While I understand the challenges of managing a busy night, this situation stemmed from mismanagement, and we should not have been rushed as a result. I’m sharing this feedback not to cause conflict but to advocate for better hospitality and communication. Based on other reviews, it’s clear that taking accountability is not a strong point here, as excuses often replace meaningful action. I’ve dined at equally busy restaurants and been treated with far more care and respect as a paying customer. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no desire to return, especially given how poorly my concerns were handled both in person and in your reply.
