First time to Nashville. Took a client out to dinner and chose Gannons. The only 2 good things were the wedge salad and the Brussels Sprouts. The strip steak was flavorful but tough. Not a 44 dollar steak at all! The old fashioned was missing the cherry, the rum drink was ok. No bread for the table, server forgot my ice tea, had to remind them. Took 10 Minutes to get greeted once we were sat. In fact I had to waive down the hostess to ask if we had a server. The live music was nice. Overall it was overpriced for the experience. Valet was 30 bucks and no validation given. This place can use some fine tuning.

Perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. Cole was very helpful with our selections and spot on with his recommendations. Loved the food and the music.

I wish I could give it a 10 star rating. We had the best meal, the best service, and the best overall experience. You can’t go wrong with any option you choose, but the empanada, tartare, and pork chop were out of this world!!

Really great food! The ambiance and design of the restaurant are great! It has an art deco feel-it definitely didn’t feel like a “hotel restaurant “. We learned it has local owners and is not a chain. We would go again!

The food, atmosphere and the live band were so good. I went for my birthday. They definitely made it a great experience.

We had a wonderful dinner at Gannon‘s. This was our first time dining there, but we would love to come back. We had the raw oysters and the eggplant with shrimp, crab and mornay sauce as appetizers. The oysters were tasty and a nice size. The eggplant mornay was absolutely wonderful. It is large enough to serve as a dinner Portion. I had the filet, which was very good and a small Ish size. My husband had the ribeye, and it was huge. Both are served with a side of roasted vegetables. The servers at the bar (where we ate) were very attentive and friendly and overall just great. Highly recommend!

Our waiter was fabulous. Everyone very attentive without being obtrusive. Loved the ambience. Never felt rushed. There was a piano player and then a jazz trio that was playing a lot of Charlie Brown Christmas music. So nice. We are going to go back for sure. I think I’d like to sit at that long bar get some nice cocktails, an appetizer and listen to the music. Highly highly recommend the lobster bisque. And the wedge salad- best ever. Empanadas - so good. Enjoyed the chicken piccata. The eggplant appetizer was ordered as a main course. Meatballs were good though not the best thing we had. And, they make a good espresso martini. The right way.
