Just got back with a very happy tummy after celebrating my hubby’s birthday! 🎉 It was our first time dining at Garrison, and we loved it. Brian, our server, was absolutely wonderful—he walked us through the details of how each appetizer and dish was prepared, which made the experience even more special. We started with the snapper crudo and pierogi, both of which were incredible, and finished with the perfectly cooked porterhouse steak as our main course. Highly recommend! 🥂🍽️ Hubby’s favorite cocktail of the night was the Antiquity—a creative spin on an Old Fashioned. It was absolutely amazing and the perfect complement to our meal! 🍸✨

Been coming here for special occasions for several years. Great ambience and setting. The food is excellent . Great flavorful steak! We’ve luckily gotten the same server many times over the years and David has been on point every time. Extremely polite, genuine, and attentive. We always have a memorable experience at the Garrison and highly recommend!

Photos don’t do this place justice; it looks much better in reality. Starting with the fact that it’s a building inside a building, with a fake colonial façade, it’s quite spectacular. The food is also much more upscale than I expected: they serve amuse-bouches, including a wagyu crackling, and the steak comes pre-sliced with sauce and all. Definitely not cheap, even by London standards, but worth it nevertheless.

For the NYE dinner, food was very good, service was great. But dinner was served almost 2 hours later after our reservation.

Celebrated NYE 2025 with Garrison’s deluxe six-course tasting dinner. Restaurant's style is all over the place and completely incoherent. Food was good but each time they brought out a course, they mumbled through the description of what they were serving as if they were going through the motions rather than being passionate about what they were serving. Our waitress was great though. The price was too high for the experience and ambience. They validated parking which was very nice.

We did the New Year's Eve 6 course tasting menu. We chose the food menu and wine tasting. They were very obviously ill-prepared for the event. It took over 1 1/2 hours just to get to the second course. Overall, we were there for over 3 hours. No meal should ever take over 3 hours. The food itself was just OK. Nothing particularly special about it. In all fairness I don't think the waitstaff was to blame. I just believe the kitchen hadn't properly prepared. I hadn't eaten at Garrisons before this evening, but seriously doubt I ever will again.

Dreadful new years eve experience. Felt bad for the servers who had to keep apologizing. Unfortunately this meal cost us over $1000.00 CAD.
