The waiting staff were not the greatest. We sat down and they only provided two menus between four of us. 5 minutes after being given the menus, we were offered the dessert menu and asked if we wanted dessert. We had to remind them that we’d only just arrived. When the main course arrived, my carbonara arrived luke warm at best. It was tasty but just not warm enough. I got the feeling it had been sat awaiting delivery to the table. The venue is nice, and the food is reasonably valued. I am prepared to give it another go, as it may just have been an off night for the waiting staff.

Stayed at the Marriott with friends and booked into Ginos for our meal , had a great time lovely ambiance and good food and a big shout out to Daniel who made our visit enjoyable with his professional hosting would definitely return.

They treated my mum like a queen for her 70th! Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Nothing could be faulted, from beginning to end it was amazing. My mum is Italian and doesn’t normally enjoy Italian restaurants as she ‘can make it all myself’ but she loved it here which is testament itself!

Food and atmosphere was very good. My only complaint was that I had a glass of white wine served to the table that was not chilled at all. It was at room temperature . When I asked if they had any chilled I was told they hadn’t and was brought a glass of ice to put in it. At over £12 a glass white wine should surely be served chilled.

Really sorry to post a poor review. Table of 4 to celebrate cousins 40th Wedding Anniversary /pre gig meal. Starters good, all 4 main meals very poor We eat at a local Italian in Royton, the Lasagne, Carbanara and Risotto were just ok, all seemed warmed up and not authentic. The lasagna in particular was just ok, quite solid and not much taste, carbanarna slightly better but still seems warmed up, Risotto just ok. Paid 230 with drinks and seemed overpriced for the quality of food, really disappointed with the meal and won't return. Full point to the staff thought who were friendly, professional and attentive just the food that let the side down, on a par with Wetherspoons and we all commented the same

The food here was good for the most part, however the service was absolutely terrible. Upon arrival we were told our table was just being made up so to wait by the bar, which was fine as we were 5 mins early. However after almost half an hour we queried if it would be much longer and were told ‘oh I can seat you right away’. Basically we had been forgotten about. It went downhill from there, with waiting for menus that were forgotten, waiting for orders to be taken for drinks for a long time, drinks didn’t arrive, when chased they took a further 10 mins while the person looked puzzled on what to do - just get the drink! Then waiting for a food order to be taken and waiting for a long time for food - about 1 hour 20 mins from seating, nvm the 30 mins waiting at the bar. And in the end their apology was to try to give me an £11 refund as they ‘meant to take it off the bill before it came’. I said forget it, £11 is neither here nor there to me and is not going to address the terrible service. Gino should be ashamed to have his name over the door here, very disappointed.
