The place is modern clean and on a busy night lively the food was very good, service was great and wasn’t hounded for more drinks. The olives were by far the best I’ve tasted, when asked for the bill the lady promptly brought it over and pointed out that a service charge had been added which is what I liked, up front and not hidden like other restaurants I go to. On all great experience for my husband’s birthday

My Husband ordered a steak to be told the one he wanted wasn’t available so he ordered another said he would like it medium and it came over well some like boot leather the waiter asked if everything was ok with the meal we told him the steak wasn’t cooked to how he wanted it he said ok and left tought he was going to speak to the chef and he came back with the bill the most expensive tiny over cooked piece of steak we ever had won’t be back

Arrived and was met by a lovely staff member and seated quickly . First visit and restaurant was very nicely set up . Background music was a bit loud so it was difficult to hear my fellow diners or either of the whispering waitresses who were serving our table . Have to say my Beef Sunday lunch was disappointing although my companions enjoyed their roast Chicken . Desserts were fine . An overcharge on the bill needed rectifying before we left. Overall disappointed considering Gino's name is above the door.

Given a dirty glass and no ice bucket for our bottle of Prosecco. My carbonara was inedible, so dry and clumpy. When I complained I was told it was made in the traditional Italian way……which I’ve had many times and it’s never been like that. To top it off our affogato was disappointing, a shot of coffee with what tasted like almond essence rather than amaretto. Will not be back.

The food was absolutely outstanding and great value for money. I couldn't fault any of the dishes we had, 3 courses each were all delicious. However the service we received was very disappointing. It did not match the level you would expect of a place like this. Staff were not attentive, we felt like a bit of an imposition on them. Sat for about 30 minutes after dessert with no drinks, no offer of more, no removal of dishes and no offer of the bill. Such a shame this took away from what would have been a great experience.
