Glass Brasserie is an eloquent, lofty restaurant and wine bar with panoramic views overlooking Sydney's historic Queen Victoria Building. Under the culinary guidance of head chef Natalie Murphy, the Glass team dreams up honest, simple culinary experiences that celebrate the finest seasonal produce in imbued flavour.

The brasserie-style menu is designed to take guests on a journey, losing themselves in the enclaves of the restaurant's ambiance, flavours and character. Glass boasts one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists, curated by Head Sommelier, Mauro Bortolato for almost two decades. The 3,500 strong collection is encased in a striking wine wall that spans floor to ceiling through the space. Designed by renowned interior designer, Tony Chi, the restaurant's interior exudes equal party's intimacy and grandeur with it's ambient open-plan kitchen and expansive day-to-night dining experiences.

    Really delicious food and great wine pairing. The scallops carpaccio was amazing, best dish of the meal. The caviar was served with small toast though when blinis were listed on the menu. We asked about this and the server said these were the blinis, but that’s not what was featured online. Caviar was great, but little toast was less satisfying. The lam and the duck were both delicious as well. Would try more seafood if we were to go again as the scallops were the best dish.

    The staff was very friendly, and professional. They accommodated our requests, and the food was delicious! We had a wonderful dining experience!

    Filets were not cooked to order but appeared to have been cooked before dinner service. Similarly crème brûlée was not prepared when ordered. I appreciate that the restaurant was open for Christmas dinner but the food was disappointing. It certainly didn’t merit an additional 10% holiday charge.

    Christmas lunch was not good value. I expected a magical experience on Xmas day but there was very little charm and vibrancy. The main snapper fillet was dry and the side small and stingy. Seafood platter disappointed because ice had melted into the prawns. Overall do not recommend this on Xmas day.

    This was positioned as a Christmas degustation menu and it couldn’t have been more ordinary. I’ve always had fabulous meals at Glass and took my three kids for our special Christmas dinner. The meal was more like a set- menu. The wine pairings were anything but generous - not even a glass of sparkling on arrival? Service was incredibly slow. I wish we’d chosen the a la carte. Felt like a wasted $1000

    We enjoyed good service and food at the restaurant. However the Ladies toilets on the second floor of the Hilton hotel were in poor condition and poor cleanliness.

    Nice place to dine in an unpretentious setting. Food and drinks were great. Only let down was the facilities - toilets are down the hall and at the time of our visit there was no toilet paper or soap in the female toilets, which was pretty poor for a Hilton hotel.
