Golden Bear Station is an Italian American restaurant that offers a unique perspective through the lens from the owners of Animo and Mu Ramen.

Mu Ramen and Animo owners Joshua Smookler and Heidy He have received exceptional recognition, including a prestigious 2-star review from the New York Times in 2015. The New York Times also dubbed them as the best ramen in NYC, while Eater named them the best ramen in America in 2016. Animo, on the other hand, has been praised by the San Francisco Chronicle and recognized as one of Esquire's Best New Restaurant in America in 2022. Both restaurants have earned a place and acknowledgement in the Michelin guide.

Golden Bear Station strives to encompass the essence of a local establishment and a haven for aficionados of wine and gastronomy. It serves as a gathering place where individuals flock to savor pizzas, pastas and seasonal delicacies.

                                        The food is really amazing. We had the yellowtail appetizer which was very good from what we could actually get on our fork as it was very thin and skimpy. Then we shared the Bibb lettuce salad which is possibly the best salad I've ever had....loved the tarragon dressing Lastly, the lobster pasta....just wonderful We really appreciated the local neighbor discounted corkage.

                                        Outstanding! We cannot wait to come back soon. Food, wine, service and atmosphere were everything we look for in a restaurant. Oh, and the fireplace on a cold November night - so charming. What a gem.

                                        Great Place for date night. We always love going to Golden Bear. The food is delicious and the servers are very nice. The ambiance is so fun.

                                        Amazing wine list and by the glass options are sound, no near perfection and affordable. Everything was paved out and I’m really anal about ordering all at one time because vintage being rushed. I’m not a T bone fan but the dry aging made that one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The pizza was so flavorful and love the crust. And we were talked into the salad but so glad we were-oh my god-so refreshing and herbaceous-I would highly recommend it. One of the best meals ever and a good value given wine country prices. The husband and wife are welcoming and talented. She at the front of the house and knows wines and he as the chef execution on the dishes - spot on. I would highly recommend!

                                        Pizza was delicious! the dough is perfect. All the food was outstanding. Service was great. This is our second visit and we treated our parents. I think they’ll be back for another visit too now.

                                        Service dropped comeplrtely food was delivered.  Server never came back asking us if we one more drinks and don't even ask how was the food?  although it was really good, service could've been much better to make it a nicer experience.
