Specializing in Thai seafood dishes that highlight the abundance of locally-availability fresh Gulf fish and seafood. With a full Thai menu and a creative bar menu designed to accompany the tropical flavors of Thai food and the New Orleans cultural heritage, Executive Chef Aom Srisuk brings together the best flavors of the East with the best of the Big Easy. Good Catch is the sister restaurant to our smaller but more established uptown restaurant Pomelo.

Some of the food (beef laab, pumpkin pie, cashew nut chicken) was excellent, but some was not good value for the price, particularly the dumplings (overcooked) and the scallops were bland. Biggest problem was the noise level, which made it difficult to hear across the table or to communicate with the servers.

Authentic flavors with the right zing on heat! Larb Guy had great texture & heat. Mirin sauce for summer rolls was sweet & tangy. Satay sauce had ground peanuts . We loved the seafood pad Thai with glass noodles, the lump crab yellow curry & pork wontons Treat yourself to awesome authentic Thai here at Good Catch/Thai Urban Bistro

What a wonderful Christmas Day dinner experience today! The food & drinks were outstanding, as was the service! Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food! Highly recommend!! Do check out the Lavendar Martini, if that’s your thing!

Our first trip to Good Catch today was great! The menu has a great selection of seafood and our dishes were fresh and delicious. Our server too great care of even though she was one her own having had a coworker call out. We will definitely go back soon!

Wow! A Thai bistro using Louisiana gulf seafood is a winning combination! (Chicken, Beef & Vegetarian also offered). This quaint restaurant in New Orleans' CBD provides personal, attentive service, a large & varied menu, and great execution of every dish we tried (Red Curry with chicken; Crab Fried Rice; Tom Yum Ramen with Seafood Medley; and Clay Pot Baked Glass Noodles with Gulf Shrimp. Soups, salads, raw bar, extensive Vegetarian options and full bar with some unique Thai-infused cocktails also offered. Everything we had was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Very fast service! Always had a server available. This was right before a Taylor swift concert so the level of service was surprising with such a large crowd.
