We went to Grana for a casual dinner before visiting the light display at Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The restaurant was fun and spacious, and our server was very good. We enjoyed a meatball flight, which was genius. We shared three pies - a Fibonacci, a Figgy, and a Potato. All of them were delicious and unlike anything we’d had recently. We look forward to dining there again.

An absolute must, if you like traditional italian food. Even if you are on a no-carb diet, you'll find authentic choices, that will make you want to go back again. We had 12 people in front of us when we entered the restaurant and were seated within 6 minutes. Service is super friendly. Two choices of tables. High tops and normal, as small as 4 and round tables for your bigger party, which is wonderful for conversation, rather than having a long table, where one end cannot talk to the other.

The restaurant seemed unorganized and the hostess stand didn’t really pay any attention to seating patrons. The ambiance was more like a high school cafeteria than a nice restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. The prices were fair. I started the evening with a huge lipstick mark on my wine glass. The noise level is very high but that didn’t bother me much. They have valet parking and as our car was being delivered, the valet said your keys are on the console. Upon arriving home, some ten miles away in Vinings, there were no car keys. We had to drive back to the restaurant at 10:00 at night to retrieve the keys from the valet’s pocket. This unfortunate incident maybe exasperating my experience at the restaurant but I doubt if I will return. Such a bad memory.

We are frequent diners at Grana, and it never fails to rate a 5-star experience. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and prompt. The bar is comfortable and fun. It is not a quiet environment, but we’re okay with that. Valet parking to the left of the building as you pull in makes it easy. We had a great experience last night, and we’ll certainly go back.

Grana is fantastic. The menu, which includes contemporary dishes influenced by traditional Italian recipes, is delicious. We sat at the bar. Service is outstanding, especially when Cat and Elaine are behind the bar.
