With a wealth of experience under his belt, chef Rand Cheung is the man responsible for taking Cantonese food to new gourmet heights in the Grand Imperial kitchen. Cheung’s exquisite cuisine focuses on the Cantonese area of Hong Kong, using outstanding ingredients including the best seafood and the freshest dim sum, all cooked to perfection and presented in a cordon bleu style more often seen in European cookery. Recommended set menus provide an opportunity to try the best of the Grand Imperial menu at a surprisingly generous price too. The setting here at Grand Imperial is just as special as the food, sleek and modern with marble pillars, original old fireplaces and featuring hand drawn calligraphy pieces and original art in a dining room entirely based around the ancient Eastern practice of Feng-shui.

Delicious as always. Dim sum and the honey glazed pork are our all time favourites. Great discovery this time was the Chinese green veg in garlic sauce. So sad to hear they are closing down soon and not relocating somewhere else in London!

i usually don't like hotel restaurants but the food here was terrific. Memorable meal pre hamilton!

We had lunch with clients, the food was nice but not fantastic. For the price I’d have expected better to be honest. It does have a really good menu and the venue is beautiful.

This really is a find. Outstanding Chinese food in a grand atmosphere (marble columns etc). Very conveninet for Victoria and Buckingham Palace. Excellent service, and the lunch deal is a steal.

Friday evening is a hazardous night for a long overdue catch up dinner with a friend. But this place does the trick nicely. Spacious, stylish and reasonable value despite the high ceilings etc. Super convenient for Victoria Station too. The dim sum were nicely executed with a house made chilli dressing and the mains were tasty and unfussy. We had pretty much the cheapest wine on the menu at 28 quid and it was good. I'll be going back in future.

I came for the Sunday dim sum and was not disappointed. The Grand Imperial has some of the best Cantonese food I’ve had outside of China. The dim sum is an excellent value.
