Delicious food and wonderful staff that were professional, friendly and attentive. We will be going back on our next trip to the area.

Really wanted to like this place, as we'd recently been told by a few people how much they enjoyed it. We had early reservations & the place was not yet busy, only had a few tables occupied, so we were expecting a GOOD table. The 1st section you walk in to is cute and has some banquette seating--plenty were open, but we were walked right on by. The "2nd" area had more of the same & at least one was set up as a two-top--I thought we'd be sat there, but no, we were walked right on by. The "3rd" area was basically a back corner with 4 tables -- 2 two-tops, & 2 four-tops shoved into a weird "hard" corner devoid of any interest except for a neon "mangia" sign & a few small "rope-type" wall hangings. (The "4th" seating area is the outdoor patio which looks cute.) Word of warning, if they try to seat you in this corner, ask to be sat elsewhere. It is LOUD, sound bounces off all the hard surfaces--wood tables, concrete floors, walls, & the high ceilings. We could literally hear every single word that the 2 people at the table behind us said, & the 2 people at the table across from us said. This was uncomfortable & off-putting. If making reservations, ask to sit at a booth! SUGGESTION FOR MANAGMENT-- to help absorb/mitigate sound -- put some industrial floor runners on the floors back here. Put on some padded, removable, (washable) chair seat & back cushions. Maybe a big plant in the back corner (there's room). Maybe some decorative tapestries on the walls. Tablecloths (covered with butcher paper). All these will help absorb sound. (Also, make sure to check the flower arrangements on the tables, our cute little arrangement had a drooping dead rose & it just added insult to the already bad seating.) We had: Butternut squash soup -- a seasonal item, so is not always on the menu. It was good. Goat cheese & ricotta ravioli ~ Duncan's wild mushrooms, truffled marsala cream sauce, pea shoots. It was good. Lasagna -- it was pretty basic & just OK.

All dishes were delicious, and beautifully presented. The frito misto was a great way to start. Unfortunately they ran out of clams so only one of our party was able to enjoy the spicy clams with linguine. Our server, Katie, was delightful!

Absolutely delicious Italian food! The Cacio E Pepe Pasta was very filling! My boyfriend ordered the Lobster special. We had a lovely date night thanks to the lovely attentive staff. Even though it was crowded, we felt taken care of! Was my first time trying after I’d heard great things from coworkers, will absolutely be returning!

Our server was amazing and helpful with our order and made sure she mentioned that it was our anniversary. Was understanding when we unfortunately chose to return one our plates. Was consistently checking on us. She was always polite and respectful.

We love dining at Grata! We booked last minute they got us right in and our server was super friendly. She was very busy and did not miss a beat.

Katie gave outstanding service! Great food and cocktails. Scaffolding all over the patio detracted from the experience, but that’s temporary.

My first time at Grata. Party of 4 before going to see a play at WHS. All 4 of us started with salads which were excellent. Two of us ordered entrees and two of us ordered from the Happy Hour menu. Personally, I enjoyed the mushrooms in which my ravioli were swimming.
