We gave it another try, but Grizzelda’s really isn't made for us: quiet foodies who prize food quality above all, while appreciating great service. We ordered the Tostadas de Atun [sic] and the Queso Blanco, along with a Modelo Especial and a Skinny Paloma. One would think these simple appetizers and drinks would be a chance to shine, especially for the glitzy vibe of Grizzelda’s. Not so. The chips with the queso were oversaturated with oil, some to the point of bendiness and inedibility. The “tostada” shells (the shape of huaraches but hard-shell) were stale. The tuna had no discernible flavor beyond just being a cut slab of tuna. And the tostada was topped with a kind of bloomin’ onion ring thing, which tasted just like Outback’s and didn’t go with the flavors of the tuna or serrano crema at all. It was like an appetizer you’d get from a 12-year-old aspiring chef who made an earnest effort, but just didn’t know what to look for or choose to delivery quality taste. From adults? Inexcusable. The Modelo in a frozen mug was great, but the Skinny Paloma was somehow sweet and sugary, from a drink that is supposed to be both unsugared and tart. The queso was fine but forgettable. It was loud and tinny on the patio, with the music up near club volume, making everyone yell over it, creating more noise. Not a chill vibe.

Spicy ranch water was on point and delicious! Brunch Portions are really generous and food is fantastic! Recommend the avocado tostado with bacon, migas, French toast and verde enchiladas! We will be back!

Everything was really great. Unfortunately the kitchen cut the skirt steak the wrong way. They cut it with the grain instead of across the green, which made them very chewy. Unfortunately a very basic mistake. That really messed everything up. Seems pretty common knowledge to cut skirt steak across the grain. You cannot cut with the grain otherwise it will be way too chewy.

We so happened to find this spot as it was close to our air bnb and it was absolutely a great find. Drinks you can tell they used quality and fresh ingredients. There was a total of 6 of us and we all ordered different drinks and no one had any complaints my favorite was the Bad Gal ri ri she had me feeling some type of way lol.... me and the wifey had shared the Butchers cut fajitas and added grilled shrimp. Flour tortilla were made fresh not reheated. This is the longest and detailed review I have ever made on this app... this tells you I will be back soon.
