For more than 30 years, Gulfstream Cafe has been a sought-after spot for birthdays, anniversaries and more thanks to the picturesque waterfront view and authentic coastal cuisine. The laid-back atmosphere at this Garden City institution complements the fresh seafood and southern favorites, choice options include broiled Lobster Tail, creamy She Crab Soup and jumbo lump Crab Cakes. With romantic views of the sunset, its own entrance and bar– it’s like having a small restaurant reserved just for you and your guests.The deck and bar can accommodate up to 40 guests for a seated event or up to 50 for a cocktail reception.     Could of had less deep-fried foods, and more grilled selections. Vegetables, salmon mussels and chicken were great. Couldn't find any shrimp in the shrimp salad. Overall nice experience and reasonable price.

    This was our first time eating here and will not be the last. The restaurant is beautiful inside & has a wonderful view of the water. The quality of food was outstanding. We had fried seafood platter, crab cakes, and filet w/jumbo shrimp. Highly recommend.

    A wonderful dining experience. We started with a cocktail in the upstairs lounge. We were then called for our reservation. We both ordered the salmon which was tender and moist. As sides we had green beans, the mashed potatoes and cream spinach. All outstanding. For dessert we shared the apple cinnamon pie with vanilla ice cream on top. A delicious meal with great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

    Our waiter, Matthew, got us off to a great start! He gave us plenty of attention without making us feel rushed!! Even though it was Valentine’s Day, the full menu was available. They did have one holiday cocktail and we tried it and enjoyed it. The meal was perfection on a plate from beginning to end. We have been patrons of this restaurant for over ten years because they want you to have an enjoyable meal. Try the Sunday brunch too!
