Gunther & Co., located in the historic Gunther Boiler Building in Brewers Hill, offers a Modern American menu, globally influenced and locally spun.     I had the black cod and it was absolutely amazing đź‘Ť buttery and flavorful, excellent! My daughter had the steak and fries and enjoyed them but she said they were very salty. The oysters we had were small but fresh and delicious. That said, I didn't like being told to go online to see the menu. Can't give each of us a printed menu? I thought that was rude. There were four of us and they never gave us 4 menus, so we had to share them.

    The pandemic is over. No one likes having to look at the menu on their phone. Especially somewhere more expensive that’s marketing themselves as a nicer dining destination. It’s a major turnoff.

    Gunther & Co. is modern, upscale, cool. The bar was bustling and the dining room was full on a Saturday night. Drinks are perfectly balanced and presented. Service was well orchestrated. From apps to entrees, the food was very good.

    Took a friend who was visiting from Chicago for dinner and Gunther did not disappoint! The food was delicious, service was impeccable and the ambiance was chill but warm and inviting. So happy my friend experience a part of Bmore we all know. Thank you!
