1si and me and my husband really enjoyed it. We ended up going to the wrong location and the girl at the front was so kind and said it was OK that they would take us and still seat us .

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Gyu-Kaku near Square One. The experience was interactive and fun, grilling our own meats right at the table. The quality of the cuts was excellent—especially the marinated short ribs and filet mignon, which were incredibly tender and flavorful. The sides and appetizers, like the garlic fried rice and spicy tuna volcano, added great variety to the meal. For dessert, the s’mores were a fun, nostalgic touch to end the night on a sweet note. Service was attentive despite the busy evening, and the ambiance was warm and lively. It was the perfect mix of romance and fun—definitely a great spot for a memorable date night!

The place was too busy that night, we didn’t even get a grill change. We had great experiences before, it is the first time that we received so little service.

It was good food but they appease white people. Literally putting white people in the nicer quiet booth area where we wanted to sit but got the excuse that they were cleaning the booths (there was plenty of booths they could have opened for us) and all the ethnic people were sat at the shared table sitting areas. Very discriminatory. Also we pre ordered the prix fixe menu with specific allergy notes through open table and they clearly didn’t bother to look at it because they just suggested a similar item on the menu and again completely disregarded the ask for a quiet booth area. Needless to say we will never go to this establishment again.

Great selection of meat choices and cuts and a good selection of vegetables. We prefer leaner cuts of meat so Gyu-Kaku more than met our needs and the taste was great. Matcha tiramisu was a wonderful way to finish the meal. We’ll be back again soon!

It was our first time going to that restaurant. The food was great. We got the Meat lovers. It’s good for 2 people (the portion is great). The best part is the smores. Also the service was good too. Very friendly.

We had a great experience here! The meat lovers special was an excellent value loaded with high quality meats, a salad, chicken karaage, miso soup. The service was excellent as well. It’s a fun dining experience.
