This is the 3rd time where we’ve had a crappy experience. The last two they didn’t have enough plates or even napkins. Served hardly came, today a lot of things we asked for they were out of. Even the spicy cabbage salad out. Service and overall this location has declined bad. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Every experience here is great no matter how busy it is. It will get busy because this place is really good. Our servers are always on top of it. That’s our general opinion across all experience. Our latest visit was particularly great and we went during the dinner rush 6pm on a Friday evening. We did the premium all you can eat and the timing between each round was perfect. We never sat around waiting. Our server knew when we should place an order for both food and drinks.

We ordered the meal for 3 and added 3 “side dishes” (chicken karaage, fried gyoza, and spicy tuna sushi). The set meal for 3 was way more than enough. Went away stuffed! The sauces provided, I’m not really sure why they’re there as most of the marinated grilled meats had so much flavor as it is. We will certainly consider going back!

My family and I had a great time celebrating Thanksgiving and a birthday at Gyu-kaku. The staff were attentive and kind. The food was good, though I didn’t always feel we got enough from each plate. Obviously we can always request more, and we ended up doubling up, but sometimes we didn’t even get enough for the 5 folks at our table to each have some.
