Come here once a week over happy hour - we notice during the shift change, no one knows who owns what for a proper server to checkin on us. The ramen noodles were lacklustre. They’re usually so good. Soggy noodles. Lack of flavour. Disappointing. Order was wrong. We ended up paying for beef we didn’t order. But we did eat it and I used points. All in all, it was a poor experience. No care. No check -in . Weird Tuesday! Hopefully improves next week.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary recently. We enjoyed a lovely dinner, and the service was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the wine situation; we ordered a wine, but it was served in small water glasses. How can a restaurant of this caliber run out of proper wine glasses? It’s quite embarrassing. I would have appreciated some form of apology for the oversight.

Awesome food, great quality cuts and tasty dishes. Hospitality was on point. Best miso soup outside of Japan. Definitely recommend this as the number one Japanese restaurant in Downtown BC.

Server was either new or not interested on working that night. He disappeared for so long, the fire went off and I wait for more than 20min for someone to pass by and asked for my server. Food quality excellent but service is your opportunity to invest more training on.
