The Halls Gap Hotel offers a range of services to suit every customer at any time of the year. During the warmer months you can take in the spectacular views of the ranges, over a refreshing drink, from the large and sheltered outdoor deck that wraps around the public bar and our large family bistro. In the colder months our warm log fires are lit to keep you comfortable over an intimate meal in the bistro.

For the kids we have a play area inside and a playground outside, both viewable from your bistro dining table.

We love this place and come often but today was for My birthday and it was just perfect. Consistently great food , amazing service and spectacular views! See you again soon!

Waited one hour for our meal. Overly priced and very small meals. Main serving is similar to entree sized meals. Left feeling hungry. You pay for the views! Have often dined at this hotel but won’t be returning in a hurry. New owners. Disappointing.

Seemed very understaffed for number if people being catered for. We waited an hour for meal. Each queue to get a table to buy drinks and food was about 6 deep. I wouldn’t recommend to others unless they hired more staff to cater for such a large crowd.

Great outdoor areas and playground for families. Unfortunately food below average with really long wait times. Staff member who was allocating tables was awful. Yelled at us for “taking too long and mucking up his bookings”. This was despite us pre booking a table and being told it was ours for 1.5hrs. Very poor. Would not recommend.

First time at this location for a meal, the staff were very helpful. Good variety of meals including vegetarian . Had the Beef Brisket, would be one of the better ones I had. Had the Brisket for 2 Nights. Have already recommended this place to the place we stayed.

Meals were fantastic. Service was friendly and super fast. Footy final was going was some noise in there with the cheering but could get through that. Wil be back again

A few months ago, we went to the halls gap hotel, and they were booked out but still seated myself and my partner at a bar table in the bistro area. The service was fantastic, and food was delicious and was served very quickly. The atmosphere was great, with a beautiful wood fire in the centre of the bistro, and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. And although the place was packed, it appeared very quiet and relaxing. Tonight, we went there again with our 2 kids and the experience was just as great, although we booked this time! There’s also a kids play area which is excellent if you have an energetic 4 year old like us! Would highly recommend this place to all. You won’t be disappointed!
