Han Oak is a communal, prix-fixe Korean restaurant emphasizing traditional flavors, seasonal ingredients, and fine technique. From their addictive hot pot to their mouthwatering dumplings, every bite at Han Oak is a taste of pure happiness.

Join the fun at Han Oak with their themed set menu, currently all about a Korean Hot Pot and interactive dining, available for reservation from Wednesday to Saturday nights. Get ready to dive into a feast of Korean flavors that will leave you smiling from ear to ear.

Book a later reservation and ask about our full-on karaoke setup! Karaoke may or may not happen but if you see the disco lights and the fog machine on, get in the queue!

De Koreaanse degustatiemenu's van chef Peter Cho, die een James Beard Award-nominatie op zijn naam heeft staan, worden geroemd. Han Oak welcomes winegrower Chisa Bize from Savigny-les-Beaune for one night in Portland Oregon. Domaine Simon Bize has been growing grapes and making wine for more than 130 years. Today, the family Domaine has centered revolutionary farming practices while making peace with Burgundy's traditionalism under Chisa’s guidance since 2013. In partnership with Becky Wasserman & Co, Paul Wasserman will join Chisa to present 3 flights featuring 9 wines from the Domaine paired alongside a 4 course dinner by Han Oak. Mostly really good, but the dessert on the prix fixe menu was silly. The flavor was really good, but it was single serving size to split between every 2 people. Even the birthday boy had to split his tiny dessert with someone else in our group. Come on, give everyone their own tiny custard!

Delightful experience for a date night without our baby girl! The hot pot is a real treat and the banchan was full of treats I could eat all day long! Service was phenomenal and every need catered! Loved the vibe, heated toilet seats/bidets (what?!! Amazing and fun and a nice treat), great ambiance and vibe. Lovely staff. Make the Rez.

We loved our experience at Han Oak! They were so accommodating to my dietary needs and went above and beyond to make sure I still had delicious options to eat. We went for our anniversary and they helped make it so special. We’ll definitely be back! Han Oak is a gem!

I love this place so much. It truly feels like you're in someones home in the best way. A really NICE home. We went for a special wine and meal pairing and the winemaker poured the wine himself and it couldn't have been lovelier.

Brought my wife here for a belated Valentines day dinner have been wanting to come here for a while. Really exceeded my expectations. Staff is very patient with folks new to the style of food. The variety of flavors, the service and the ambience is amazing. I can see why this place is so highly rated.

Han Oak offers a unique, interactive dining experience with an enchanting atmosphere. The restaurant is practically hidden in a block of eateries, which makes the place feel like a secret club. Once we found the entrance and made it inside, I was charmed by the minimalist construction; it’s a large, well-heated enclosed patio that looks into a small green courtyard. Our handsome and friendly server, Sunny, graciously explained the set hotpot menu, and guided our selection of some sophisticated cocktails. We had so much fun dipping various delicacies into the hotpot broth—if you get the seafood add-on, which I highly recommend, just hold the pieces of fish and scallops in the broth for 10 seconds tops, and it will come out perfect. The entire dinner was an omnivores delight, and I was happy with the balance of fresh vegetables and the variety of meats. Also I was pleased with the quality of the broth, it was flavorful and felt nourishing but not overly salty. Everything was accompanied by an assortment of sauces which complimented the ingredients perfectly. Last but not least, for dessert we relished a decadent vanilla bean custard—there were so many micro vanilla seeds I could feel the tiny little crunches bursting with flavor. And there was popped rice on top of this heavenly custard that had the most satisfying textural contrast. C’est Magnifique! This place takes traditional Korean cuisine and puts a creative and inspired twist on it that all in all made for a very memorable dining experience.

Amazing meal with friends. Our second time to Han Oak. And was as great as the first time. Delicious and creative food. Attentive service and fun atmosphere without being too loud.
