We chose this restaurant because of the oceanside view. The sunset was truly amazing. The drinks were pricier than the last upscale restaurant we visited. They also have a limited menu. There were menu items on the website that didn't exist on the restaurant menu. I thought their pizza was good and my Mai Tai was tasty.

Due to the ongoing remodeling of the hotel, there were areas blocked off and the toilet was a trailer. The menu was not what we hoped for on Valentine’s Day… It was more of a lunch menu. Not the relaxed atmosphere or food we’re used to from the Hau Tree. Would not have booked that night had I known.

View, food and service fine for a casual restaurant. However the menu is very limited for people with dietary restrictions so hard to see coming back often over a prolonged period of stay at the resort.

Basic food, but as expected. Unpretentious and relaxed. Waitress was a sweetheart but had too many tables! And the beach and sunset view is to die for!

The view from the beach at Hau Tree were spectacular! The food was terrific and the service was outstanding! We enjoyed it so much we dined there twice!

An excellent experience. Please know there are many, many stairs down to the beach restaurant and no elevator available to that level .

Great location and setting next to the beach! The service was awesome, but the food was average to poor and the beer was not cold.

The on the beach dining is superb. Server was great. We got there early & went to bar. Stood there about 10 min before anyone acknowledged us & bartender was right in front of us. Very awkward. Then the drinks.. I got the Mai tai & husband a margarita at $22 each . I could not drink mine. It seriously just tasted like orange juice & looked like it too. Could not taste any of the rich rum flavors. The margarita had little tequila & all mix. I don’t mind paying high price for a special occasion cocktail but these were undrinkable. Food was okay but they were out of so many things. My husbands steak was just ok. Also dining chairs need cushions They are extremely uncomfortable Will go back for the ambience but will definitely not order cocktails
