   Not the best food and it took a long time between courses, but the place has a good ambiance. I would come back for drinks.

   I used to go here all the time and it was amazing. I booked for dinner at 7pm for my partners birthday and asked for a nice seat. When greeted the gentleman said we could sit anywhere we liked and didn’t receive my special request and when we sat down in the “4 people only” seat he said he would have to relocate us if 4 people come in. The whole restaurant was nearly empty. I said ok. The service was terrible and the staff could not understand what I was asking them nor give us recommendations. Poor/ no English. Our bill was 200 for two people -Food was very expensive for a below average experience.

   The food and drinks over priced. One of the worst establishments that I’ve ever been to in Melbourne for the price. Service horrible, the waiter forgot the order. Too long to bring the food out. Edamame was brought out uncooked, unflavoured. Service standards compared to other venues was very low. Example: bringing water out in glasses. Instead, bring the glasses out and pour the water out of a nice vase.

   We were sat at a communal table in the bar next to a large loud party. It took 35 minutes to receive menus. The food was outstanding, portions tiny for the money and not made of anything super fancy. It’s a shame, I liked the drinks, loved the flavours but the service was a major let down. It took 4 hours from sitting to last course of a 5 course ‘banquet’ more like a snacklet. The vegetarian first course was a plate of crisps....

   Food was really good but worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Staff were rude, ignored us, debated us on what we ordered, didn’t communicate with each other, and were just overall shocking. Do not go here on a date! I went with friends but definitely an extremely awkward experience. Would not reccomend if you want a relaxed romantic time

   We were given our cocktails which were really good. Then never approached again about having food which was the main reason we came. After 30 mins I went over and asked for some food menus. The food that came out was unexplained and no further inquiry as to whether we may want more or not or deserts or drinks after dinner. I paid and we let ourselves out. For a place which I’d heard good things, it was completely underwhelming and I wouldn’t return. I’m sure it could be nice but our service was terrible bordering rude and I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

   A very enjoyable evening! The perfect evening to have a table by the window and look out onto the park. The food, the wine and the service was superb. My work colleague from Sydney was suitably impressed.

    I enjoyed the ambience of this place, the five course degustation and paired drinks was of very good value. Service was professional and friendly, and I liked how it felt a little exclusive to be buzzed into the restaurant.
