   This was my first visit to Hitonbury Farmhouse, the pub itself is beautiful, rustic and very pretty to look at. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Whilst presented well, it detracts from the fact there’s not really anything outstanding about the food. It’s over priced and pretentious. If you’re going to charge those prices for food, you need to nail the execution of it. We had a bottle of Portuguese wine which was outstanding, very smooth! My husband asked for an espresso and got an espresso cup filled with filter coffee… The staff whilst pleasant, had no real presence whilst we were there. A shame as they could do so much more with this pub. Not sure if I’d visit again

   The pizza was lovely, however I felt the overall menu was quite limited. It would great if they changed their menu from time to time.

   Five of us had four different dishes and we all enjoyed them. Staff helpful and friendly as always.

   We took some relatives from Australia to the Farmhouse and were totally disappointed with the food, the staff were great but sadly due to the standard of the food we will not be returning.

   Nice ambiance but very overpriced for the quality of food served. Nearly £20 for a fairly standard chicken burger and small portion of luke warm chips that were soggy and not particularly appetising. Nothing else on the plate!! Won't return.

   Absolutely lovely setting staff very nice but we chose the lunch special fish and chips which was £13 something it did say it was smaller than the large size but we didn’t expect to get a fish goujon because that’s all that it was it was very small and not worth the money. If we come again we would definitely order the full size fish and chips. We did say to the way to that served us who was very nice. We were shocked how small the lunch fish and chips was. It was not even a child’s portion and he agreed that he should tell clients how small the fish and chips were going to be.

   Overpriced. Food quality not as good compared with our previous visits. Ambiance worse than previously. Our table was close to a busy bar.

   Great new menu! Mix of dietary requirements & there was something really tasty for everyone! Loved the crabocado burger &others enjoyed the new vegan options too! Loads more on the menu to try so will be back soon!

    Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was delivered quickly and was fabulous. Generous portions and very well cooked and presented. Overall, a great Easter Sunday lunch.
