Hinata is a Sushi Omakase restaurant located in San Francisco's Van Ness district. We use quality ingredients along with authentic techniques to bring the most surprising and innovative Omakase experience to our guest.

We offer a prix fixe sushi menu starting at $125. Our menu will change daily, depending on the season and what is available from the Toyosu Market in Japan. Our full course meal will include multiple courses: starter, zensai, nigiri sushi, soup, and dessert.

Please note:
- We only offer a set Omakase tasting menu (each reserved seat MUST order the Omakase)
- We can not accommodate Vegetarians/Vegans.
- We require 24 hour notice for any allergies and dietary restriction modifications
- We are unable to modify the menu on the same day of the reservation
- Please review the CANCELATION/NO-SHOW policy before booking

Experience the exquisite Hinata Omakase tasting menu, featuring the finest selections directly sourced from Toyosu Fish Market in Tokyo. Indulge in multiple courses of premium sashimi, nigiri, and seasonal ingredients, all meticulously hand-crafted for your enjoyment. Optional beverage pairings are curated to elevate the dining experience. We will happily accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice, but we do not have vegetarian or vegan options. Visit www.hinata.com. Please be advised that we are unable to accept cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours. The price of the menu does not include the service charge, sales tax, and the SF mandate. Please note a 20% service charge will add to for parties of 6 or more guests.

The sushi at Hinata is fantastic! We celebrated my wife's birthday with the course menu with three additional pieces. Delicious!

Always a great experience at Hinata. It doesn’t disappoint. I have been here many times and enjoy the ambiance and food. It is my go-to omakase place in the city.

The ambiance was great, quite and relaxing, food was great and also the service staff is very pleasant for checking our needs and my only concerned is little bit pricey like for 3 small sake flights drinks that cost $40, just for 2 person cost us $500 with a tip.

Flawless execution from this omakase team! Would love the option of ordering items from the tasting menu as a la carte additions to the experience (e.g. favorite nigiris).

Was expecting more for paying over $900 for 4 people. Quality was good but way over priced. Did not feel satisfied after finished.

Very good value, excellent service, high quality fish & rice. I ate here earlier in the year and returned in October. Both experiences were stellar. Very consistent. I live and work in the neighborhood so having this place nearby is wonderful. Already planning my next visit.

I had an amazing time celerbating my boyfriend's birthday at Hinata. It was our first time there and we felt so welcomed by the staff. The food was amazing and the service was even better. I can't wait to find more excuses to come back and introduce all my friends.

The food was incredible, the chef was fun and personable and the service was great. We had an amazing dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary.
